“Cariad” is the Welsh word for “love,” and this brand was born from exactly that: love for meaningful moments, love for the people around me, and love for dresses that don’t just look beautiful but feel right — emotionally and physically.
I started Cariad Bridal because I saw something missing in the bridal industry. After going shopping with my best friend for her wedding dress, I walked away feeling disappointed — and a little heartbroken. The experience didn’t feel special. It didn’t feel joyful. It felt like a sales pitch in a sea of sameness. She was never made to feel like a bride, and no one treated that day like the milestone it was.
That memory stuck with me.
And so, I created what I couldn’t find — a bridal experience that’s gentle, celebratory, and refreshingly relaxed. The kind of experience where you feel like the main character in your own story, surrounded by love, lace, tea, and treats. That’s what Cariad Bridal is all about.
